Kathy Yeater spent her life spreading the joy of music to her students. Kathy was a catalyst for the advancement of string playing throughout our region and dedicated 35 years towards the growth of York Junior Symphony. She was known for her musical excellence, with generations of students growing up to be professional musicians, music educators, and orchestral audience members. Kathy passed away in 2021, her legacy touching the lives of thousands of York County families. 

 

Kathy and her husband Bob left large donations to the Kathleen Yeater Memorial Scholarship Fund, to further support her dreams for future generations of the York Junior Symphony Orchestra.
