YJSO String Ensemble

The YJSO String Ensemble is a select chamber group made up of some of our organization's most advanced string musicians and consists of four violins, two violas, two cellos and one bass. This exceptional rehearses weekly following the regular YJSO rehearsal, from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm.

In addition to performing at the YJSO concerts, the ensemble represents our organization through a variety of special performances throughout the community. Past appearances have included lobby performances with the York Symphony Orchestra, recitals at York College of Pennsylvania, banquet events and other community engagements.
